Brother Kim Jong Un Blacklisted human rights in the US

Brother Kim Jong Un Blacklisted human rights in the US - Ministry of Finance of the United States put the name of Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un, to the black list due to human rights abuses in the isolated country.

Kim Yo Jong is Deputy Director of the Department of Agitation and Propaganda Korea ruling party in the North. He put in the blacklist along with six other North Korean state officials, including the Minister of State Security, Kim Won Hong.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Ministry of Finance AS, Kim Won Hong "involved in the torture and inhumane behavior towards prisoners during the process of interrogation and camps of political prisoners in the country's network."

Besides Kim Yo Jong and Kim Won Hong, in the list also contained five other North Korean officials from various agencies, ranging from the North Korean Workers' Party, the Ministry of Labor, to the State Planning Commission.

"North Korean regime is not only involved in human rights violations but also the implementation of policies sensors that are very hard and keep their oppression and inhumane behavior," according to excerpts OFAC statement, as reported by Reuters on Wednesday (11/1).

The blacklist was released shortly after the US State Department released a report on violations of censorship and human rights in North Korea. According to the US State Department, this offense is one of the worst in the world.

In the report, the US State Department called the North continue to commit murder without a clear legal process, human disappearances, forced labor, to severe torture.

"Most of the violations was committed in political prison camps, where about 80-120 thousand people were arrested, including children and family members of victims of persecution and censorship," wrote the US State Department.
