US Intelligence: Putin Orders cyber attacks to review Trump Wins - Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly directed cyber attack to help Donald Trump won the presidential election held on 8 November last, concluded a US intelligence report.
"We studied that Putin and his government skewed in favor of Trump. The purpose is to bring down Russia US citizens trust the democratic process, damaging the image of Hillary Clinton, Hillary difficult to win the election and disrupt his presidency if he wins. Russian Intelligence Agency reportedly used intermediaries such as Wikileaks, DCLeaks.com and Guccifer 2.0 to release electronic mail (email) hacked by the tops of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
E-mails are then used to create an embarrassing media reports Hillary, triggering the resignation of the chairman of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
The report did not mention that the activities of Russia affects directly the result of the presidential election which was surprisingly won by Trump.
