Obama's message that a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians is difficult to achieve. Last month, the US State Department condemned the Israeli plan to build 300 additional housing units.

In response to Greenblatt, senior Israeli officials, Ofer Akunis, said he was happy if a peace agreement is not determined by the Israeli occupation. He urged the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to quickly build a new settlement.
