Christmas message Pope Francis - The leader of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis said in his Christmas message, people have been held hostage by materialism, so blinding. In fact, many human beings are starving and need a helping hand.

Throughout the year, the pope had urged their compassion toward refugees, and encourages Christians to remember that Jesus too was once a refugee.
Christmas Eve Mass attended by about 10 thousand people and dozens of cardinals and bishops with tight security.
